If you want to eat chocolate – do it, but if you’re doing it every day – eat more weeds.

To avoid phosphorus overload and improve calcium absorption:
Drink spring water and herbal infusions; prevent pop soda and carbonated water.
Eat only whole grain bread, noodles, cookies, and crackers.
Buy only unpreserved meats, cheeses, potatoes.

LSD which stands for lysergic acid diethylamide belongs to the hallucinogen class of drugs. It belongs to the chemically synthesized group of stimulant drugs. It produces symptoms of ecstasy and mood swings which last for a shorter span of time as compared to other addiction. But the drug provides a tolerance after its intake as a result of which the person increases the dosage to get the kick. Since it is manufactured from a fungus found on rye and grains, it has a detrimental effect on the health. Still, it is widely used by school and college students who are unaware of the side effect and take the drug for getting away from their problems.

LSD is commonly referred as acid and is readily available in tablets, capsules and liquid forms. It is a colorless, odorless substance which is taken by the oral route.

Symptoms And Signs

 The sign and symptom vary depending on various surrounding and individual factors. The amount of drug intake by the addict also decides the effect.

Mental  LSD Effect

The mind is primarily affected by consumption of LSD. This is seen in the form of emotional swings. It takes large doses to produce hallucinations and delusions. Although not clear, if cold weather affects more patients who have Arthritis, a significant number of doctors specialized in the field of Rheumatology agree with the theory that many patients experience a worsening of joint symptoms with changes in the weather.

What is Arthritis?

Commonly regarded as inflammation to the joints. When a person has “arthritis” it means that they have one of the following conditions

Inflammation

Is defined as a localized reaction of tissue to irritation, injury, or infection and it’s what causes the pain in the joints. Inflammation symptoms include pain and stiffness and may also show redness and swelling and, in some extreme cases, deformation of the joint

Even though arthritis may affect any of the body’s joints, the most common affected areas  are:
•The joints that attach our fingers to the hands
•The middle joints of your fingers
•The wrists.
•The joints that attach our toes to the feet and ankles

Larger joints often are affected later in the course of the disease. Signs and symptoms include pain, warmth, and swelling of the affected joints, with morning stiffness lasting longer than an hour.

Chronic hand and wrist pain is often due to arthritis, mainly if it occurs later in life, after the age of 50. Our hands play an all-important part in every activity we engage., whether it be at work, at home or in a sport or hobby. Everyday jobs in the house, such as cooking, cleaning can be a real problem if you have pain and stiffness in your hands.

Treatment

Is designed to relieve pain and restore function. Various anti-inflammatory drugs, such as Ibuprofen and Diclofenac are prescribed to treat arthritis, although many everyday foods and supplements provide strong anti-inflammatory benefits.

Please be aware of the dangers of relying too heavily on anti-inflammatory painkillers and using them over extended periods of time. In certain circumstances, they can be extremely dangerous and even life-threatening.

Alternate Treatments

An alternative anti-inflammatory effect is to use a cream or lotion to massage into the join.
Heat treatment, either in the form of warm wax or paraffin baths or by heat generated from health lamp could provide relief from the pain, but it won’t cure the condition.
Alternating hot and cold treatment will help to improve the circulation and repress the pain and stiffness. A cortisone injection directly into the affected joint can often provide relief of symptoms but does not cure arthritis.

Is Surgery Recommended?

Surgery is usually not advised unless these more conservative treatments fail. Surgery is a last resort, when the pain has become too acute or where the stiffness and lack of movement have rendered the hand unusable.
One type of surgery is joint fusion, in which the arthritic surface is removed, and the bones on each side of the joint are fused together, eliminating motion from the problem joint.
Depending on the patient and the severity of the operation, it can take a long time to recover from this operation.

Diet

You can do a great deal to reduce your arthritis symptoms by eating a sensible diet. Most vegetables, herbs, spices and fruits (mainly berries) have excellent anti-inflammatory properties. Ginger and turmeric are useful.
Fish oils, which contain two Omega 3 fatty acids, called EPA and DHA, are important in keeping us in top form, particularly when it comes to heart and joints. Oily fish, such as sardines, tuna, mackerel, and salmon are an important part of your diet, to provide Omega 3 oils, or an alternative to fish is cold pressed flax seed oil.

The importance of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, in a balanced diet, can not be over-emphasised. Several studies have shown that vitamin E combined with omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids may lead to the improvement of the condition and reduce the pain in patients. Nonetheless, excess consumption of omega-6s can trigger the body to produce pro-inflammatory chemicals.
Fruit and vegetables are a fundamental component of a healthy diet because they contain an abundant supply of antioxidants.

Vitamin D is not present in many foods. It plays a crucial part in helping the body absorb calcium, which is necessary for bone strength and in fighting osteoporosis. So, it’s a good idea to take vitamin D supplements. Please consult with your Dr. before taking supplements.
Exposure to morning sunlight (always with caution),  is a good practice to help our body in the production of vitamin D.

Wich foods to avoid?

Avoid foods that contain preservatives and sugar, mayonnaise, many salad dressings. Also, foods with a lot of animal fats, processed meats such as lunch meats, hot dogs, and sausages, contain chemicals such as nitrites which are associated with increased inflammation and chronic disease.

Best Personal Practices.

Reduce or quit smoking.  Smoking reduces the amount of oxygen in the tissues.
Maintain the proper body weight, preferably within the parameters of the Body Mass  (BMI), which is between 18.5–24.9 (your weight/your height= BMI)
The National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute  BMI Categories Table:
Underweight = <18.5
Normal weight = 18.5–24.9
Overweight = 25–29.9
Obesity = BMI of 30 or greater

Exercise

Just going about your daily household tasks will ensure you get some movement; however, specific exercises each day will improve flexibility.

Adhering to your Doctor’s or Physiotherapist’s advice is the most important part of treatment.
